The City of Eugene Public Works Department is looking for a positive and energetic professional to lead and manage multiple program areas and projects for the Engineering Division. The person must enjoy providing service to the community, thrive in a team environment and demonstrate adaptability to a dynamic and broadly focused work environment. The ideal candidate has the ability to provide program management and planning, perform analytical services, provide project management and deliver on customer service goals. Collaborating and providing complex professional support to customers, general public, staff and mangers are regular parts of an average day. A passion for leadership, training and success of staff is also desirable. This position reports directly to the Engineering Development Review Manager and helps coordinate public works activities at the Permit and Information Center. This position works cohesively with Planning, Building Permit Services and Engineering staff to develop and implement processes and procedures and ensure business needs are met. The person in this position collaborates with many partners to develop and implement program goals, policies and standards; and is responsible for contributing to and implementing the vision, mission and goals of the organization. This position will assist the Development Review Manager in developing procedures, policies and standards to meet program goals. Depending upon the knowledge, skills, and abilities possessed by the successful applicant, this position may be filled as either a Management Analyst 1 or Management Analyst 2.
