Coconino County, Arizona Engineering Division Manager Coconino County Public Works is recruiting for an Engineering Division Manager. The Engineering Division Manager is a key contributor to this transformational leadership vision, serving on the Collaborative Leadership Team. Also, unique to this opportunity is a County-wide local sales tax that is solely dedicated to Public Works road maintenance and capital projects - over $30 million invested in capital projects since the passage of Proposition 403, the County’s Road Maintenance Sales Tax. The Coconino County Engineering Division Manager understands and embraces the breadth, complexity and satisfaction of Public Works projects and the role of servant-leader while demonstrating extensive experience with construction management, fiscal management and administrative oversight. The Engineering Division Manager supervises the construction management team within the Engineering Division. The Division Manager is responsible for managing the business elements of the Engineering Division by leading the Engineering Team to develop the division’s and Flood Control District’s annual budgets, and the County’s Roads Capital Improvement and Flood Control District Improvement Plans. The Division Manager manages and monitors the division’s budget, ensures training plans are prepared and implemented for each division team member and keeps division team members updated on County and departmental strategic initiatives. The Division Manager also oversees the development and implementation of the Public Works Facility Master Plan. Minimum Qualifications for this position are a Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, public administration, engineering, construction management or closely related field and four years progressively responsible experience in management or administration of programs; OR any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
