The Strategic Systems and Data Management Section is recruiting for a Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse Program manager to lead ODOT's Business Intelligence Data Warehouse (BI/DW) Program. This is an ideal position for a leader who enjoys technical portfolio and project management related to data warehousing and business intelligence systems. The person in this position will lead the development, research, implementation, monitoring and management of various strategic, business, and work planning efforts and IT projects across the agency.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure successful delivery of projects within an enterprise technology program portfolio that supports the agency-wide use of:
- Data integration techniques.
- Business intelligence.
- Analytic reporting platforms, processes, and tools.
- Plan and administer multiple IT projects, maintenance requests, and requests for business intelligence reports.
- Conduct analysis, strategic and operational planning, development, implementation and coordination for the operations, maintenance, installation and construction of the BI/DW program.
- Work with ODOT executive management and external government entities to identify ODOT and public information needs supported by the Data Warehouse.

Minimum Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in business or public administration, behavioral or social sciences, finance, political science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills of the position and five years professional-level evaluative, analytical, and planning work related to management of technology programs and business intelligence or data management/integration technologies. ORAny combination of experience and education equivalent to eight years professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work related to management of technology programs and business intelligence or data management/integration technologies. Preferred Attributes: In addition to your related work experience and education, we will use the attributes below to determine whom to interview. - Information technology portfolio and project management experience.
- Experience in integrated system architecture and database concepts.
- Experience leading the deployment of business intelligence reporting tools in large organizations.
- Experience leading technical, professional and contracted staff, performing team management activities such as work plan development and program resource allocation for a portfolio of multiple large-size and complex new development and maintenance projects and requests for reporting solutions.
- Experience conducting strategic planning of IT related initiatives and leading multi-year strategic planning projects.
Working Conditions:
- Includes tight deadlines and some work outside normal business hours that may include weekends and holidays.
- Some travel required.
