MUST APPLY ONLINE The City of Seaside is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a supervisory-level class position in the Maintenance and Utilities Worker class series. Responsibilities include, planning, organizing, supervising, reviewing, and evaluating the work of maintenance staff either directly or through lead workers. This class requires certification to be operator of the City's Water System and sewer system. Education & Experience: Equivalent to the completion of the 12th grade and 5 years of skilled maintenance program experience in assigned area, 2 of which should be in a supervisory capacity. Licenses & Certifications: Possession of a valid Grade I Water Treatment certificate Possession of a valid Grade II Water Distribution certificate Possession of a Class B driver's license with proper endorsements or obtain within twelve months of hire Possession of a valid Cross Connection Control Specialist certificate or obtain within twelve months of hire Possession of a valid Grade I Sewer certificate or obtain within twelve months of hire Possession of a valid backflow Certification is desirable
