The City of Topeka (KS) is seeking candidates for an Infrastructure Planner whose duties include supervising, coordinating and administering public works asset management programs and related infrastructure projects. Includes supervision of technician personnel and overseeing the work of contractors and consultants. Duties include:
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, public administration, planning, construction management, or related area; an equivalent combination of experience and education may be substituted for the degree. Must have five (5) years of increasing experience and responsibility related to project management, public infrastructure projects preferred, planning, and data analysis. Two (2) years of experience supervising subordinates and contracted vendors. Experience with asset management software, such as MicroPaver, City works, or similar systems preferred. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license (KS license within 6 months of hire) and city insurable driving record.
